Surf,
skydiving, skiing, windsurfing ... Sliding on the water
being pulled by a kite has acquired several fans across
the country but the Ceará is one of the great barns of
kitesurfe in Brazil on account of the strong and
constant winds. The sport is an alternative on days when
the waves is not good for surfers.
The sport must be practiced with adequate equipment and
training. This is the first step for those who wish to
start practicing the sport. The only requirements are
able to swim and be in good health.
In Ceará, Canoa Quebrada, and Fortim Icapuí are the main
points to the practice in the Costa del Sol Nascente.
Fortaleza is another point ideal for kitesurfe. Already
on the West Coast, the options are Cumbuco, Pecém, Taíba,
Paracuru, Icaraí of Amontada and Jeriocoacoara, a haven
for practitioners of kite. Our classes and downwinds are
given throughout coast Ceará.
